The note examines the experience ofself-developed technologies by farmer experimenters (FEs) inHonduras, based on a study by the Association of Advisorsfor a Sustainable, Ecological, and People-CenteredAgriculture - COSECHA - and shows how FEs are capable ofdeveloping large numbers of significant, and originaltechnologies, providing evidence that the collecting, anddissemination of FEs technologies in other nations, could beuseful for institutions involved in agriculturaldevelopment. The note further explores the participatorytechnology development, the results to date of thetechnologies discovered, and those promising technologies tobe developed.
