Rural development projects target foodsecurity and poverty alleviation. In Central Cameroon, aproject providing extension of integrated farming technologyto rural/subsistence farmers and to periurban/small-scalecommercial farmers achieved increases in fish pondproductivity, number of fish farmers, and net returns fromaquaculture.
