【 摘 要 】

Foundation Chile was created in 1976as a nonprofit governed jointly by the Chilean governmentand a large American conglomerate. It proactively introducestechnology innovations and develops companies in targetindustries including agribusiness, marine resources,forestry, environment and chemical metrology, human capital,and information and communication technologies. Among itssuccesses have been a new method for packaging beef thatenables ranchers to export it more easily, and introducingraspberries, blueberries, oysters and salmon farming forprofitable overseas markets.
