【 摘 要 】

This study reviews the recentdevelopments in capital markets and institutional investorsin Russia, and examines the policy challenges ahead for thedevelopment of the sector.The analysis covers keyimpediments for further development and policy challengesfor securities markets, in particular legal and regulatoryframework, market infrastructure, government bonds,sub-sovereign bonds, corporate bonds, and equities. Theanalysis also covers key impediments for further developmentand policy challenges for mutual funds, pension funds, andinsurance companies.
