This brief showcases the lessons learnedfrom the Africa Round Table (ART), a collaborative forumthat has brought together countries from east, west, andsouthern Africa. The forum has led to more than fivedistinct insolvency reforms that have helped strengthencountries' credit environments. By leveraging theirjoint capacities, IFC and the World Bank have helpedSub-Saharan African countries address the challenges of thefinancial crisis, strengthen ties across professions, and inthe process create a guiding example for evoking lastingchange in a country.
