How can the World Bank engage theprinciples of open development and accountability with ourclients in fragile and conflict-affected situations (FCS)?With the support of our partners and counterparts inAfghanistan and Myanmar, the Bank convened governments andtheir citizens including media, civil society, students, andacademia to discuss the Bank s Open Development initiativeat public forums and to learn how to use Bank resources infocused trainings. It was clear that, while resources foraccountability may be limited, the citizens were eager!
