The Chile Country gender assessments(CGAs) identify gender-responsive policies and actions arestrategic for poverty reduction, economic growth, humanwell-being, and development effectiveness.The reportproposes priority policy objectives: increase female laborforce participation, especially for low-income households,and reduce discontinuity in women's work experience.The report focus on the gender equality in the labormarkets; improve access to financial services; expand accessto business networks, business development services, andtechnology for women entrepreneurs. The potential impacts oneconomic growth gaps of increasing female labor forceparticipation or reducing the gender gap.
