This quick note summarizes the similarlytitled report released on February 17, 2009, which assessesglobal labor and job mobility that is migration andoutsourcing with a focus on Europe and Middle East and NorthAfrica (MENA). The report looks at long term globaldemographic and labor force developments to assess whichparts of the world will experience aging populations andmajor declines in their labor force and which will see anexpansion. Two pillars underpin the analysis presented inthis report. First, increasingly strong forces will bepulling for the migration of people and jobs across theworld's regions in the future. Second, countries andregions can adopt a proactive approach to prepare for theseglobal changes, to seize opportunities, and to address riskshead on.
