【 摘 要 】
This paper examines the impact of tradefacilitation on intra-African trade. The authors examine therole of trade facilitation reforms, such as increased portefficiency, improved customs, and regulatory environments,and upgrading services infrastructure on trade betweenAfrican countries. They also consider how regional tradeagreements relate to intra-African trade flows. Using tradedata from 2003 to 2004, they find that improvement in portsand services infrastructure promise relatively moreexpansion in intra-African trade than other measures. Theyalso show that, almost all regional trade agreements have apositive effect on trade flows.
