The objective of this working paper isto: (i) document China’s business environment reformexperience over the past few years, (ii) analyze the reformmeasures and the institutional arrangements that enabledthis success, (iii) identify the remaining opportunities forbusiness environment reforms; and (iv) share lessons learnedfrom China’s experience with other economies that alsoaspire to improve the business environment.
