This paper discusses the landscape forprivate equity and venture capital financing in Ghana. Itprovides an overview of the private equity and venturecapital market in the country, describing key players,including funds, fund managers, investors, and public sectorentities. The paper provides an analysis of key marketdrivers and impediments, as well as legal, regulatory, andtaxation drivers and impediments that affect Ghana’s privateequity and venture capital industry.
