The President of the World Bank, JimYong Kim, pointed to the serious consequences to global economic outlook of failing to tackle the challenges of climate change. He remarked that therisks associated with climate change could threateninternational peace and security. The Bank is stepping up mitigation, adaptation, and disaster risk management work.
