This report, the full PER, aims toundertake a detailed analysis of the recent trends inpublicexpenditures and revenue with a view to helpingMongolia’s policy makers and opinion leaders identify themain priorities for a successful implementation of itsongoing recovery program. It also intends to strengthen thefiscal foundation of rapid and inclusive growth to helpachieve the objectives of the SDV 2030. Furthermore, the PERalso reviews the spending needs of key sectors such ashealth and education, which play an essential role in thelong-term development of the country and the fight against poverty.
