The tenth edition of the TanzaniaEconomic Update covers the state of the economy and includesa near term outlook, with a special focus chapter on one ofthe most cross-cutting determinants of development outcomes,water resource management. Part One presents a discussionand analysis of Tanzania's recent macroeconomic andfiscal performance, with an updated outlook for the nearterm. Part Two presents an analysis of Tanzania'smanagement of its water resources, showing that themanagement of these resources has massive implications forTanzania's people, its economy and its environment, andthat there is an urgent need for improvements.
