【 摘 要 】

Strengthening Auditing and Reporting inthe Countries of the Eastern Partnership (STAREP) is aregional program of the Centre for Financial ReportingReform (CFRR). The program aims to create a transparentpolicy environment and effective institutional framework forcorporate reporting within the countries that make up theEuropean Union’s Eastern Partnership: Armenia, Azerbaijan,Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. STAREP’s focus is onthe improvement of corporate financial reporting frameworksand their effective implementation. As many countries movetowards the adoption of international and regional standardsin accounting and auditing, there is a need to ensure highquality, relevant education both for those entering theprofession and for ongoing professional developmentthroughout their career. The World Bank’s Accounting andAuditing Education Community of Practice (EduCoP) hasenabled shared and peer learning, supporting nationalefforts to develop accounting and auditing education capacity.
