【 摘 要 】

This study report 'Planning forEfficient Dispatch' was developed within the frameworkof the project 'Variable Renewable Energy Integrationand Planning: Pakistan' under a technical assistanceproject financed by World Bank in support of the Governmentof Pakistan. With the aim of being as close as possible tothe reality in terms of constraints which cannot beinfluenced by the dispatcher, potential sources of suchdeviations have been eliminated in the model. For instance,demand, export to K-Electric, hydrology, VRE output, bagasseoutput, outages, and nuclearplant operations have been setto their actual historic values. To allow for this analysisand to reach the objectives, the assignment includedengagement with the National Power Control Centre (NPCC) aswell as technical support. This also included the generaltopic of VRE integration in support of the wider study.
