【 摘 要 】

This report is presenting the keyfindings of the Energy Efficiency Transformation in Astanaand Almaty study, a project financed by the World Bank’sEnergy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) - amulti-donor technical assistance trust fund administered bythe World Bank. The study is under Kazakhstan EnergyEfficiency Project (P130013) which aims to improve energyefficiency in public and social facilities and the enablingenvironment for sustainable energy financing. The reportoutlines the urban Energy Efficiency (EE) strategies for thenext twelve years for Astana and Almaty, up to 2030, byassessing the energy performance of the municipal servicesectors and identifying and prioritizing EE opportunitiesalong with a sound implementation plan.
