【 摘 要 】

This assessment of the payment systemsin Thailand was undertaken in the context of theInternational Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World BankFinancial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) exercise forThailand in January 2007. It covers the Bank of ThailandAutomated High-value Transfer Network (BAHTNET), which is areal time gross settlement (RTGS) system. The Bank ofThailand (BOT) conducted a comprehensive self-assessment ofBAHTNET observance of the Core Principles for SystemicallyImportant Payment Systems (CPSIPS). It was professionallydone and was made available to the mission in advance. TheThai authorities were fully cooperative and all relevantdocumentation to fulfill the assessment of BAHTNET wasprovided on time and without difficulties. The logisticalsupport and warm hospitality of the officials of the BOT aregreatly appreciated.
