This Investment Policy and RegulatoryReview (IPRR) presents information on the legal andregulatory frameworks governing foreign direct investment(FDI) and competition that affect businesses and foreigninvestors in Malaysia. The research was primarily based on areview of currently applicable policies, laws andregulations. It is not a comprehensive review of the entirelegal and regulatory framework affecting investment.Information presented is not exhaustive, but illustrative ofthe main topics and issues covered.
