This policy notes seek to distill keyfindings from a broad range of World Bank Group engagementsin Lesotho, including policy dialogue, analytical work,strategic documents, project lending, and trust fundedactivities. It builds on discussions with governmentcounterparts, development partners, non-governmentalorganizations, representatives of the private sector, andother stakeholders. The policy note includes synopses oneach topic, highlighting key issues and challenges, andconcluding with actionable policy recommendations. It coversa broad range of policy issues but are not intended to becomprehensive or exhaustive. The policy notes start with theoverview of the World Bank program and structured under fivebroad thematic groupings. It begins with key issues andchallenges, and unmaterialized opportunities. The first partis reflected in policy measures in both short term andmedium to long term.
