【 摘 要 】

This toolkit introduces and explainsstep by step the key elements of success for FIs to expandfinancial services to farmers. The content was developedaround IFC’s global experience in assisting FIs with thedevelopment and implementation of agricultural financeproducts. The benefits of this work are synthesized in thisguide, along with knowledge and expertise of best practicesamong both IFC clients and others. The guide includes adviceon each step involved and tips on how to address the complexchallenges that might arise during product developmentprocess. The guide has seven chief components: introductionto agricultural finance, the product development process,product development phase one – preparation, productdevelopment phase two – market research, product developmentphase three – pilot design, product development phase four -pilot testing and monitoring, and product development phasefive – product launch and rollout.
