To sustain momentum for the achievementof the sustainable energy for all (SE4ALL) objectives, ameans of charting global progress to 2030 is needed. TheWorld Bank and the International Energy Agency led aconsortium of 15 international agencies to establish theSE4ALL global tracking framework (GTF), which provides asystem for regular global reporting, based on rigorous yetpractical, given available databases - technical measures.This note is based on that framework. The primary indicatorsand data sources that the GTF uses to track progress towardthe three SE4ALL goals are summarized in this note. Thisnote uses data from the GTF to provide a regional andcountry perspective on the three pillars of SE4ALL forEastern Europe and Central Asia (ECA). The first sectionconsiders energy access. The note looks at the renewableenergy and energy efficiency goals.
