The importance of addressinggender-based violence (GBV) in fragile, conflict, andviolence (FCV) situations is increasingly recognized bycountries and international humanitarian and developmentagencies. This note highlights the best practices indesigning, implementing and evaluating a project involvingaddressing GBV in conflict and fragile situations. The notealso provides an overview of the World Bank’s currentengagement on GBV in fragile settings and internal resourcesavailable to TTLs.
