【 摘 要 】

The private sector plays an importantrole in emerging market countries with limited educationcapacity by providing quality schooling at all levels, fromearly childhood development to tertiary education andlifelong learning. By strengthening connections betweeneducation providers and private enterprises, it helps equipstudents with skills needed for successful employment,thereby creating additional potential for development.Private firms also play multiple roles in supporting publiceducation by publishing learning materials and developingassessment tools and educational software, building andmaintaining schools, and enabling financial support forstudents in need of it. As a result, private firms can helpsupport all education institutions, private or public, andmaximize their contribution to education outcomes.
