【 摘 要 】
In 2007 Jordan lacked the financialresources and experience to embark on a renovation andexpansion of its international airport, a colossalpublic-private undertaking. Yet by 2013 it was able tosuccessfully complete the complex endeavor in collaborationwith a private sector concessionaire, and without asovereign guarantee, setting an example for countries andpublic-private project practitioners confronting similarcircumstances. International Finance Corporation (IFC)played multiple roles in facilitating private investmentover a 10-year period.
