Together with private sector investors,International Finance Corporation (IFC) has been leading aglobal effort to develop new guidelines for responsibleinvesting in digital finance. These guidelines leverageIFC’s significant experience with the equator principles andresponsible investing in micro, small, and mediumenterprises (MSMEs) by focusing on strengthening governance,risk management, consumer protection, and financialwell-being for the unbanked and underserved - as well asIFC’s experience as advisor and investor in the digitalfinance space.
