The World Bank Group’s Systems Approachfor Better Education Results (SABER) initiative producesdata on education system policies and institutions, analyzesand evaluates their quality, and provides decision makersand stakeholders with an assessment that fosters structuredand informed policy dialogue on how to most effectivelystrengthen education systems. During its tenure, SABER hasgrown rapidly to become a key component in the design ofeducation programming across the globe, providing countrieswith quality data and information. By generating a broaderknowledge base on education systems worldwide, these toolsare helping reform education at the country level while alsobuilding a high-quality knowledge base for education reformsat the global level. As SABER has evolved and gainedtraction globally, international development institutions,regional organizations, and national and local governmentshave partnered with SABER domain teams and adapted SABERtools for more effective engagements.
