This is a drill. These are the words we are directed to say before and after any verbal communication with other personnel while participating in training exercises for the Hanford Site Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The EOC has multiple components and many personnel outside of the EOC participate in training exercises. This is a Drill. describes the operations of the EOC Unified Dose Assessment Center (UDAC) and the tools used by personnel operating the UDAC. The functions and composition of the EOC, UDAC and related organizations are governed by the Hanford Emergency Management Plan for the US. Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) and Office of River Protection (ORP) (DOURL-94-02, Hanford Emergency Management Plan). This plan presents - in a single document - an overview of the emergency-management program of the entire Hanford Site.
