The purpose of this document is to provide the technical basis, analysis, and justification for seeking a technical equivalency determination (TED) to TFRCM Article 552.1.b. The scope of this document limited to radiation surveys in occupied areas, no equivalency is being sought for high radiation area boundary surveys, radiological buffer area surveys, active ventilations surveys, or work coverage surveys.
