Properties of transverse momentum spectra and rapidity dependence of protons and anti-protons in Au-Au collisions at (radical)(s(sub NN))= 200 GeV are discussed. The net-proton yields are approximately constant at y lesser than 1 and increases towards y(approx.) 3. The mean rapidity loss is estimated to be in the range of 1.9 lesser than (delta)y lesser than 2.4.
