【 摘 要 】
A multiphase reacting flow computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code has been developed for the simulation of industrial size combustors and reactors. The code is being converted to run on a parallel-processing computer by using the Message-Passing Interface (MPI) language. This conversion is being done in stages, and the first stage, which includes conversion of the low-level solver, has been completed. The need for parallel computing capability in industrial scale, multiphase reacting flow problems is discussed, and timing results with a parallel solver running on one to thirty-two processors are presented.
