【 摘 要 】
This report provides a detailed description of management practices for water quality improvement in the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) catchments, to be more specific, the Natural Resource Management (NRM) regions of the Wet Tropics (WT), Burdekin Dry Tropics (BDT) and Mackay Whitsundays (MWS). In this report we will identify the most important agricultural production systems in the GBR catchment from both a financial (regional income) as well as a water quality point of view, identify the priority management actions for each identified production system and prioritize the management actions according to water quality improvement potential. The benchmark date for water quality improvement management practices described in this report is 2008, the beginning of Reef Rescue.
