The weather affects every portion of a scientific balloon mission, from payload integration, to launch, float, termination, and recovery. Forecasting for these missions is very specialized and unique in many aspects. This presentation will detail the tools, data, and processes that Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility (CSBF) Meteorology uses to produce its forecasts.
