Thisreportsummarisestheresultsof work undertakenfortheEEC INCO-DCproject:Anew integratedgeophysicalapproachfortherationalmanagementandexplorationof groundwater resources. Thereportsummarisesthefieldactivitiesof theVLF(VeryLowFrequencyEM)technique whichtookplaceonCyprusduringMayandJune1998.GeophysicalsurveysonCyprusare designatedasTask3andtheVLFtechniquedesignatedassub-task3.8.VLFfieldworktook placemainlyalongamainN-SprofileintheXylofagouareaofeasternCyprus.VLF observationsalongmorelimitedtraversesalsotookplaceatafewselectedlocalitiesonthe pillow lavas in the Troodos area. This report describes only the VLF survey in the Xylophagou area.
