【 摘 要 】

Demand for Web hosting and e-commerce services continues to grow. The shared Web hosting service uses the possibility to create a set of virtual servers on the same physical server. Each virtual server is set- up to write its own access log. Such implementation and set-up splits the "whole picture" of web server usage into multiple independent pieces, making it difficult for the service provider to understand and analyze the "aggregate" traffic characteristics. Web Hosting Analysis Tool (WHAT) aims to provide the information which is of interest to system administrators and service providers; the information which provides insight into the system's resource requirements and traffic access patterns. 15 Pages
