In this paper, we present an architecture for the deployment of Semantic Web Services. We present a conceptual model for semantic web services, linked with concepts in existing work and illustrated with four scenarios. The conceptual model includes a lifecycle for service interaction, mediation and composition of services. We then present an embodiment of the model in an architecture. We present both the 'macro-architecture' of how the different entities interoperate, and the 'micro-architecture' defining the internal functionality of the different entities. We then discuss implementation of this architecture. 16 Pages
