【 摘 要 】

Drawing on the most recentknowledge of climate change impacts in the Alpsand experiences across the region, this reportanalyses the risks that climate change presents tothe region's water supply and quality, identifyingneeds, constraints, opportunities, policy levers andoptions for adaptation. It extracts policy guidanceon adaptation practice and aims to assist regionaland local stakeholders in developing robustadaptation strategies. The focus of the report ison water resources and related adaptation, ratherthan water-related extreme events like floods,avalanches, landslides or mudflows, which arealready well covered by existing studies of climatechange impacts in the Alps.
