This Regulation consisting of 111 articles aims to set out the general rules of food hygiene throughout the food chain, including primary production, processing, preparing, manufacturing, packing, transporting, storing, distribution, displaying, servicing, donating and selling food to consumers in order to produce safe food that is suitable for human consumption.
