This Act makes provisions for the survey, registration, licensing and ships that navigate on waters declared as such under section 42 of this Act and provides rules relative to navigation by ships on inland waters and related matters. Various provisions of this Act relating to construction, equipment, survey and inspection also apply to fishing vessels.
