【 摘 要 】

This Act regulates exploration and explotation of mineral resources on or in the seabed of waters under the jurisdiction of Tonga and related matters. This Act does not apply to the exploration for or recovery of petroleum. The objects of this Act include: (a) to establish a legal framework and domestic and international investment environment for the development of the Kingdom‘s Seabed Minerals; (b) to establish a legal framework for, and the efficient control of, contractors sponsored by the K
