These Regulations impose requirements with respect to the control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances. The Regulations apply to establishments, as defined in regulation 2(1), where dangerous substances are present or are likely to be present in quantities equal to or exceeding the quantities specified in column 2 of Part 1 or in column 2 of Part 2 of Schedule 1.
