This Act aims to promote the use of sustainable biofuels for land transport and to reduce life cycle emissions of greenhouse gases from these transportation in order to adhere to Denmark's international climate obligations. Commercial companies have the obligation to ensure that biofuels emissions of their annual fuel sales for land transport energy shall be of min. 5.75%.
