We give a construction of a basis of the positive part f of the Drinfeld-Jimbo quantum enveloping algebra associated with a Dynkin quiver in terms of parity sheaves over fields in any characteristic, and we categorify both the multiplication and the comultiplication of f via complexes of sheaves.
