【 摘 要 】

Matrix LU decomposition has six ijk forms. Different forms have different computational complexities and storage requirements, particularly on vector and parallel computers. Other factors governing the choice of a particular form are considered. For treating Fredholm integral equations of the first kind, the truncated LU decomposition of the resulting system matrix is recommended.
