This paper is contributed to the Cauchy problem [GRAPHICS] with initial function rho not equivalent to 0. The monotonicity and stability of the positive radial steady states, which are positive solutions of Delta u + K(|x|)u(p) + mu f(|x|) = 0, are discussed with K(|x|), f(|x|) and rho in weighted Banach spaces.
