The modulus is a generalization of the extremal length of plane curves introduced by L Ahlfors. We study the variation t bar right arrow mod(P)(F-t) of the p-modulus mod(p)(F) of a foliation F on a Riemannian manifold. In particular, we consider the product of moduli of orthogonal foliations.
