【 摘 要 】
The effects of yttrium (Y) addition on the creep properties of a Ni-base superalloy fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM) were examined at 650 degrees C. The creep rupture life and ductility of a superalloy produced by SLM were improved by the addition of Y. In the Y-free superalloy, Al-rich oxide particles were observed around the delta phase which is detrimental to creep life and ductility. The adding of Y to SLM superalloy formed Y oxide (yttrria) instead of Al-rich oxide, and it brought about the suppression of delta-phase precipitate growth and improved creep properties.
