【 摘 要 】
Use of a beam-based approach is presented for establishing a rigidity calibration for the A1900 fragment separator located at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory. Also presented is why an alternative approach to the rigidity calibration - using detailed field maps of individual magnetic components - is not a feasible basis for deriving an accurate calibration. The level of accuracy achieved for the rigidity calibration is +/- 0.1%. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
