【 摘 要 】

TaN samples were prepared using the spark plasma sintering at 1800 degrees C. Samples consisted of cubic tantalum nitride with the lattice parameter of a = 4.338 angstrom. The formation of hexagonal and cubic (a = 4.44 angstrom) TaN phases in situ during the flexural tests was analyzed using X-ray diffraction.
