【 摘 要 】
Two fatty acid styryl amides, edonamides A (1) and B (2), were isolated as the first secondary metabolites from the recently described myxobacterial genus and family Aggregicoccus edonensis. Their molecular structures were elucidated using extensive HRESIMS and NMR analyses. Since edonamides A (1) and B (2) did not show inhibitory activity against different bacteria, fungi, and cell lines a role as signaling molecules in the life cycle of myxobacteria seems possible.
